About the Owner/CEO

My professional experience includes nine years working with autistic children to improve their independence, communication, and adaptive, behavioral, and social development skills. I have 11 years of experience in a Healthcare setting as a Certified Medical Assistant at Stanford Health, including five years in a pediatric setting at Sutter Health.

I completed my graduate degree at Arizona State University's Applied Behavior Analysis program and my post-graduate diploma at Johns Hopkins' Autism and Other Pervasive Developmental Disorders Education. I completed my doctorate at the University of the Pacific, specializing in Transformative Action in Education. My research focused on equality, equity, and inclusion for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

As a mother of 3 children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), my ultimate goal is to build a residential care home for my loved ones and community members with special needs. Before I pass, I want to reassure those I leave behind will have a safe place to call home, where their needs will receive the best care.

Background and History of the Company:

Mylestones Early Intervention was established in July 2022 by Nina Boling who is a Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA). The founder felt the need for early intervention and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to provide high quality service for the children of San Joaquin county, and incorporate more caregiver training and navigational information. They have been working with the autistic and developmentally disabled children since 2014. Nina has ten years of experience in the field, as well as her own personal experience with three of her children being diagnosed with ASD. The founder has submitted the proposal to the local regional center, Valley Mountain Regional Center (VMRC).

The name Mylestones derives from the name of Nina's son Myles and epitomizes the word "milestone" meaning an act or event that causes a significant change or symbolizes an important stage of decline. Myles benefited greatly from his early interventions and lecture activities, the impact of which is evident throughout his life. He proactively received early intervention services by spotting signs of delay, and his active participation in all training significantly improved the well-being of his family as a whole. In parallel, Mylestones strives to increase understanding, awareness, commitment to service, and resilience to challenges within the company, working together toward achievable life-enhancing goals for the company and families.

Mylestones aims to help children in San Joaquin County reach their fullest potential or help them catch up to their age-appropriate milestones. In most cases, children will be encouraged to improve in all areas of development including cognitive, receptive communication, expressive communication, social, behavioral, adaptive, gross motor, and fine motor domains. The expected outcome of service is improvement and increase in all domains of at least 5% more based on the accepted measurement tool deemed by the Valley Mountain Regional Center (VMRC).

Business hours are from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday with the observance of US Holidays.
